OK so if u know about Narrows, Plasticman (as in Plastician), Oddz, Mark One, Youngstar etc then u know about the super brief thing that was 4x4 grime. This was like 2001-2004 days. Not garage, not bassline, just grime with a 4x4 kick rather than the angular stuff that was mostly about in those days. This was before halfstep / halftime became the norm, times when ppl talked about 'grime ravers'.

If u missed all that, no drama. This tune is just stripped back essentials - big bassline, simple beat, sense of dread, film dialogue. In my eyes/ears u can never go wrong with the vibe best described as 'dark but fun'.

If u know my tune Bax, this isn't a million miles from that I guess. Closest I've come to it for a long time anyway. Pure club music - instant impact.
